AHIDF 3% Interest Subvention – Loan Cost Calculator
AHIDF scheme 2026 ka sabse bada financial benefit hai 3% annual interest subvention jo Government of India directly lending bank ko pay karti hai beneficiary ki taraf se. Iska matlab hai ki agar bank ka loan rate 10% hai, toh aapka effective rate sirf 7% ho jaata hai – 8 saal tak. Neeche ek practical calculation table diya gaya hai:
| Project Size | Loan Amount (90%) | Bank Rate (Approx.) | After 3% Subvention | Annual Saving (Approx.) | 8-Year Total Saving |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rs.50 Lakh project | Rs.45 Lakh | ~10% | ~7% | Rs.1.35 Lakh/yr | Rs.10.8 Lakh |
| Rs.2 Crore project | Rs.1.8 Crore | ~10% | ~7% | Rs.5.4 Lakh/yr | Rs.43.2 Lakh |
| Rs.5 Crore project | Rs.4.5 Crore | ~10% | ~7% | Rs.13.5 Lakh/yr | Rs.1.08 Crore |
| Rs.10 Crore project | Rs.9 Crore | ~10% | ~7% | Rs.27 Lakh/yr | Rs.2.16 Crore |
| Rs.20 Crore project | Rs.18 Crore | ~10% | ~7% | Rs.54 Lakh/yr | Rs.4.32 Crore |
Note: Actual bank rate EBLR-linked hota hai. MSME loans up to Rs.50 lakh ke liye rate EBLR +200 bps hota hai. Rs.50 lakh se upar ke loans ke liye bank ki extant guidelines apply hoti hain. Interest subvention sirf standard (non-NPA) loans par milti hai.
Iske alawa, AHIDF scheme converged benefits bhi allow karti hai – matlab state government ya doosri central schemes ke capital subsidy ko AHIDF ke upar add kar sakte hain. Isse effective financial support aur bhi zyada ho jaata hai.

AHIDF Loan Apply Online – Step-by-Step Portal Guide
AHIDF scheme 2026 ke liye official portal ahidf.udyamimitra.in par single online window facility hai. Neeche poora application process step-by-step diya gaya hai:
- Project Eligibility Verify Karein: Pehle confirm karein ki aapka project AHIDF ke 7 eligible activity categories mein se kisi ek mein aata hai. Ineligible projects par bank time waste karega.
- DPR (Detailed Project Report) Prepare Karein: Yeh sabse important step hai. DPR mein complete cost breakup, machinery list with quotations, financial projections (minimum 5 years), market analysis aur viability calculations honi chahiye. Ek professional CA ya consultant ki madad lena helpful rahega.
- Udyam Mitra Portal Par Account Banayein: ahidf.udyamimitra.in par jaayein. Mobile number se OTP verify karke account create karein.
- Online Application Form Bharen: Personal details, business details aur project information fill karein. Eligible activity category, project location, estimated project cost aur promoter contribution mention karein.
- Documents Upload Karein: DPR, identity proof, land documents, statutory clearances, machinery quotations – sab documents PDF format mein upload karein. File size limits ka dhyan rakhein.
- Preferred Bank Select Karein: Portal par participating scheduled banks ki list hogi – SBI, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, NABARD, NDDB aur doosre. Apna preferred lender select karein.

- PAC/PSC Approval: Project Approval Committee (PAC) aur Project Sanctioning Committee (PSC) approval ke baad loan sanction letter milega.
- Loan Disbursement: Phased disbursement hoti hai – jaise-jaise construction/equipment installation progress hota hai. 3% interest subvention automatically government DAHD account se bank ko credit hoti hai.
AHIDF application mein DPR ki quality sabse zyada matter karti hai. Ek weak DPR se loan reject hone ke chances bahut zyada hain. Apne project ke liye NABARD-empanelled consultant ya chartered accountant se DPR banwayein. Project report mein quality management unit, product promotion plan aur market development roadmap zaroor include karein – DAHD ye specifically check karta hai. Agar project MSME category mein hai, toh CGTMSE credit guarantee ke liye Udyam registration pehle karwa lein – isse collateral burden significantly kam ho jaata hai.

AHIDF vs DEDS Scheme – Key Differences
Bahut saare dairy entrepreneurs AHIDF scheme 2026 aur purani DEDS (Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme) ke beech confuse ho jaate hain. Dono schemes dairy sector ke liye hain lekin fundamentally alag focus rakhti hain. DEDS ko FY 2020-21 mein discontinue kar diya gaya, aur ab AHIDF iske successor ke roop mein kaam karta hai:
| Parameter | AHIDF Scheme 2026 | DEDS (Discontinued) |
|---|---|---|
| Focus Area | Infrastructure – processing plants, cold chain, value addition | Primary farming – cow/buffalo purchase, small farm setup |
| Financial Benefit | 3% interest subvention for 8 years | 25% capital subsidy (33% for SC/ST) |
| Maximum Loan | 90% of project cost (no fixed upper limit) | Limited loan sizes (typically up to Rs.20 lakh) |
| Eligible Entities | Individuals, Private Co., MSME, FPO, Dairy Cooperative, Section 8 | Individual farmers, SHGs, dairy cooperative societies |
| Project Scale | Medium to large infrastructure (Rs.50 lakh to hundreds of crores) | Small to micro scale (2-50 animals) |
| Implementing Agency | DAHD + Scheduled Banks + NABARD | NABARD (through commercial banks) |
| Current Status | Active (FY 2025-26 approved; repayment till 2033-34) | Discontinued since April 2021 |
| Best For | Agri-entrepreneurs, MSMEs, FPOs scaling up infrastructure | Small farmers starting dairy with 2-10 animals (historical) |
Agar aap ek dairy processing, value addition ya infrastructure project plan kar rahe hain (Rs.50 lakh se upar), toh AHIDF clearly better choice hai kyunki isme 90% loan coverage milti hai aur 3% interest subvention 8 saal tak milti rahi hai – jisse effective financing cost kaafi kam ho jaati hai. DEDS ki tarah ek-time capital subsidy nahi milti, lekin 8-saal ki interest savings considerably zyada hoti hain bade projects mein. Agar aapka project Rs.5 crore ka hai, toh 3% interest subvention se hi 8 saal mein Rs.1 crore se zyada ki saving ho sakti hai.
High-Value Agri-Finance Terms You Must Know
AHIDF scheme 2026 ka full benefit uthane ke liye yeh 10 key agri-finance aur dairy sector terms samajhna zaroori hai. Ye terms DPR banate waqt, bank se baat karte waqt aur scheme guidelines padhte waqt baar baar aate hain:
