Union Bank Apprentice 2026: Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian citizen (or eligible categories as per Government of India norms).
- Education: Graduate degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE-recognised university. Result must be declared on or before 01 April 2026. Date of graduation must not be before 01 April 2022 (i.e., not more than 4 years old).
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) in the local language of the applied state.
- No Prior Apprenticeship: Candidates who have previously completed apprenticeship training or have more than 1 year of job experience after graduation are NOT eligible.
- Age: Minimum 20 years, Maximum 28 years as on 01 April 2026 (relaxation as applicable).

Union Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
- Online Examination (Objective Type): 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes. Sections: General/Financial Awareness (20), General English (20), Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude (20), Computer or Subject Knowledge (20), UBI Products & Services (20). No negative marking.
- Proficiency Test of Local Language: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the applied state. Evidence via 10th/12th marksheet or a separate test.
- Document Verification: DOB, Category, Educational Qualification, Local Language certificate.
- Medical Fitness Certificate: From a registered General Physician.
Final selection is based on overall performance and merit as per the Bank’s discretion.
