Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of the undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of bank
draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested
copies of certificates and passport size photograph for the post of Project Associate provided in the Adhoc project, “Phenotyping and
Molecular Characterization of Snapmelon germplasm against fusarium wilt resistance for development of mapping population in Muskmelon (Cucumis melo L.)”. CSS-50 (PC-6363) at a fixed salary of Rs. 31000/- +16%HRA (for those who have qualified NET/Gate)
and @25000/- plus 16% HRA PM Fixed (for those who have not qualified NET/Gate) for an initial period of six months from the date on
which the incumbent joins or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.The qualifications for this post are as under:
Qualification
i. B.Sc. Agri/Horticulture. B.Sc. Agriculture Biotechnology/ B.Sc. Basic Science with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
ii. M.Sc. in Vegetable Science /Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Agricultural Biotechnology /life Sciences with at least minimum OCPA
6.50/10.00 or 65% marks and with NET/GATE may be recruited as Project Associate @31000+16% HRA.
OR
iii. M.Sc. in Vegetable Science /Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Agricultural Biotechnology / life Sciences with at least minimum OCPA
6.50/10.00 or 65% marks and without NET/GATE may be recruited as Project Associate @25000+16% HRA.
