Educational Qualification & Eligibility

• Minimum Qualification: Regular Full-time minimum 2-year Diploma or Polytechnic in Agriculture or any sub-field/sub-discipline of Agriculture (excluding Diploma in Horticulture)
• Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate from all semesters/years (45% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates)
• Institute: Government recognized institute/college only
• Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible provided they hold the minimum Diploma as above
• CGPA holders must provide equivalent percentage certificate as per university norms
• Final year result must have been declared on or before 30/04/2026
• No equivalent qualification claims accepted — NFL’s decision is final

Selection Process

1. Offline OMR Based Examination — 150 Questions, 1 mark each, 2 hours duration
   • 100 questions: Domain subject (Agriculture Diploma curriculum)
   • 50 questions: General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & GK/Awareness
   • Medium: Hindi (Rajbhasha) and English
   • No Negative Marking
   • Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (75 out of 150)
2. Skill/Trade Test (if applicable) — Qualifying in nature; may be conducted at NFL units
3. Document Verification — Original certificates to be produced
4. Medical Fitness — Certificate from Civil Surgeon / NFL’s hospital required before joining
