Post-Graduate Programme in Agriculture, Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Forestry, and Biotechnology of Birsa Agricultural University as detailed below for the Session 2022-23.
I. Doctoral Programme

B. Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry

Education (3) Veterinary Pathology (4) Veterinary Anatomy (5) Veterinary Medicine (6)
Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (7) Veterinary Physiology (8) Veterinary Surgery
and Radiology.
C. Forestry
(1) Silviculture and Agroforestry (2) Forest Products & Utilization
Eligibility Criteria
(a) 4 years Bachelor’s Degree programme with Hons. in Agriculture/Forestry and 5-5 h years in
Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry.
(b) Minimum overall grade point average (O.G.P.A.) 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks in aggregate or
equivalent percentage of marks at Master’s degree level. A candidate can apply for Doctoral
Programme only in the Major subject of study at Master’s degree level.
(c) Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Entrance test and minimum cut of marks will be
50% for General/EWS/OBC and 40% for ST/SC/PC (Physically Challenged).
(d) Candidate appearing in final year exams can also apply but he/she must have to submit required
certificates at the time of counseling followed by admission.
