Eligibility / Educational Qualification
Post 1 — Project Associate-I (PAT-I):
- Essential: Post Graduate degree in Botany / Chemistry or B.Pharma from a recognised university.
- Desirable: Experience in Botanical and Chemical Profiling of medicinal plants; experience in collection of plants from field.
- Higher Stipend (₹31,000+HRA): Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE exam, OR qualified national-level exams by central government agencies like DBT/DST or equivalent.
- Standard Stipend (₹25,000+HRA): All other eligible candidates not covered under the above criteria.
Post 2 — Field Assistant:
- Essential: Graduate in Science or D.Pharma from a recognised university.
- Desirable: Field collection and processing of medicinal plants, market surveys and procurement of raw drugs from different markets in India, and analysis in the lab.
Selection Process
- Walk-in interview will be held on 18 May 2026 at 11:00 AM at K.N. Kaul Block, CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow.
- If a large number of candidates appear, a Screening Test with MCQ-type objective questions may be conducted to shortlist candidates for interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee.
- A panel of recommended candidates will be formed; the panel will be used as and when vacancies arise in related projects.
- Candidates may interact with the committee in Hindi or English.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the walk-in interview.
